Sail22 Melges 24 Worlds Tuning Regatta Results
The Sail22 Melges 24 Worlds Tuning Regatta will be held October 8-11, 2009 in Annapolis, MD. We have a great event planned! Henri Lloyd will be our major sponsor for the event with lots of gear on site for teams to check out. We are grateful to the Annapolis Sailing School for working with us to give our teams a home base for debriefs. Velocitek will also be sponsoring the event with product demos during the races and GPS tracking of the racing to be reviewed during the daily post-race debriefs. Astral Buoyancy has come on board to allow racers to test life jackets during the event and McLube and West System will be providing a great gift bag of products for each team. Sebago will be awarding gift certificates for new shoes to each of the top 3 teams for the entire team! Rite in the Rain has great water resistant paper that we will be printing the Sailing Instructions on and each team will receive one of their notebooks as well. Weather Routing, Inc is our official weather sponsor of the regatta and will be providing competitors will daily forecasts starting on October 6th for practices and access to their Seaweather information for the month of October. Kaenon and Bert Jabin’s Yacht Yard have also joined our sponsors. Ullman Sails, Quantum Sails and North Sails will also all be supporting the tuning regatta.
